Additional Information
Airspace Violations

A friendly C-5 mistakenly entered DPRK airspace over water and was fired upon by DRPK MIG-29s. Navy F/A-18s were launched to intercept the MIGs and were fired upon by more MIG-29s. As more DPRK fighters entered the fight, the engagement has moved too close for comfort to a US Carrier group. The US Navy contacted the DRPK government and said they are only protecting the airspace around the carrier group and will not engage DRPK fighters outside that airspace. However, intel shows more DPRK MIGs and worse Su-27s equipped with anti-ship missiles preparing to takeoff and enter the fight. Thus, CENTCOM has ordered us to scramble to the location of the engagement to aid the Navy in destroying any DPRK fighters within 150 mile range of the carrier and has tasked two strike flights with destroying the two coastal DPRK airfields where the Su-27s and MIG-29s are based if the DRPK does not comply and disengage.

Please be on time for the flight and prepared to fly. OF 4.7 + 1stVFW Patch.

Thank You!
